Misty Pfeifer has worked for ConnectHR since its inception in 2015 and is the “HR Department” for seven companies ranging in size from 16-50 employees. She is proficient across the spectrum of HR functions, and highly regarded for her professionalism and client relationship skills. Misty holds a Professional Human Resources (PHR) certification, a SHRM-CP, and a bachelor and master’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Alaska Anchorage. Misty has worked for The Wilson Agency since 1999 and is now ConnectHR’s Lead HR Services Partner for the Anchorage office. Misty has over ten years of experience providing employers a full range of HR services, with especially strong expertise in recruiting, benefits, and HR systems. She has worked with employers and clients in oil field services, telecommunications, healthcare services, non-profits, and construction

Belinda Davis, Investigator, Anchorage Equal Rights Commission

A long time Anchorage resident, Belinda Davis is the senior investigator with the Anchorage Equal Rights Commission.  She investigates, mediates, and conciliates complaints alleging illegal discrimination or harassment. She also does public presentations on this subject and conducts employer training. Ms. Davis has worked as an assistant ombudsman and the sole investigator for the Alaska Public Offices Commission.  She holds a Bachelor of Business Degree-with an emphasis in Business Administration. 

Erin Shepherd-Ham SHRM-SCP, SPHR, Human Resources Operations Manager at Ahtna, Inc.
Erin Shepherd-Ham is a skilled HR professional with a strong background in compliance and comprehensive investigations. After completing a degree in Sociology from the University of Colorado, Erin started her career in social work. Her interviewing and investigative expertise learned through her years as a social worker made for a natural transition human resources. Erin has spent the last seventeen years in human resources.  She spent over five years working with government agencies as an HR Specialist, an additional three with Providence Health as an Employee Relations Advisor, and six years working with Alaska Native Corporations as an HR Operations Manager and HR Director.  Her background in both the public and private sectors provides Erin with a unique perspective and skillset with regards to employment complaints and investigations, as well as advising managers on dealing with difficult employee relations issues.  In addition to her expertise in investigations and employee relations, Erin has excellent HR generalist capabilities as well as special expertise in compensation analysis. 

Heather Wagner, PHR, MSPM,  Regional HR Manager, Hilcorp Alaska, LLC

Heather Wagner has over 25 years of human resources experience in Alaska specializing in employee relations, compliance, recruitment and retention and human resource information systems. Mrs. Wagner has worked with both for profit and non-profit organizations in a variety of industries supporting employees and managers alike in health care, banking, aviation, education, telecommunications and oil and gas. She earned a BS in Business Administration with a concentration in human resources from Towson State University in Maryland and a MS in Project Management from the University of Alaska Anchorage.  Heather received her Professional in Human Resources certification from the Human Resources Certification Institute and a Certified Professional certification from the Society for Human Resource Management.  She is a Past-President of the Society for Human Resource Management Alaska State Council and a founding member of the Mat-Su Valley Chapter of SHRM.
